Merry Christmas!! Treg and I are so excited to celebrate our first Christmas together:) We did Thanksgiving in Aberdeen, so we are doing Christmas in California this year. I am so so excited to go home. I can't wait to see my family and friends! My family lives in 4 different states, so it will be so exciting to be together for a little while. AND two of my best friends are coming home from their missions!! Sara and Megan....I can't wait to see them!
The semester is coming to a close, this is our last week of Fall 12. It's been a long hard semester, so we are glad to have a break. Treg will be taking classes next semester, and I am off-track so I will be working. We are loving it in Rexburg, mostly because we have many great friends (married and single) to spend time with. We are also blessed to have a great ward with fun callings.
As I have been reflecting about this past year, I am so beyond grateful for everything in my life. Treg and I have both gone through many changes this year, but they have made our lives better! Getting married, going through the temple, moving into our first apartment, getting more family, getting a new ward, learning how to be on our own...it has been such a rewarding year for the both of us. I am thankful for everyone who has supported us and helped us get to this point. Thank you to all our loved ones!
During this time of year, people tend to increase their love and service for others. I love this time of year. I have especially been trying to take time to reflect on the most important reason we celebrate Christmas, and that is the Savior. I am so thankful for our Savior Jesus Christ! I hope everyone can take more time than usual to reflect about the birth of our Savior. I am so thankful for this gospel, the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and the opportunity to celebrate his birth.
Treg and I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! We love you all. :)
