Summer 12.

We have had SUCH a fun summer.  We are trying to get in as much fun as possible before we start school again...After we got back from Folsom, we spent a day hiking through part of Yellowstone and Mesa Falls.  We went to a place called Cave Falls which is technically in Yellowstone.  SO I can say I have been to Yellowstone, although we are going to tour more of the park this weekend which I am really excited about!  We went on a hike and found beautiful scenery and waterfalls!  Then we went over to Mesa Falls and that was of course beautiful....:)

Then we had the chance to go back to California again!  But this time we went to Pismo Beach, CA for a family reunion on my dad's side.  First family reunion we have ever on the Gibson/Moreland/Becker side...it was so fun and really great to catch up with everyone.  Treg, Steven, and I went surfing! (Mine and Treg's first time)  oooohh my gosh it is harder than it looks!! It took all I had just to get past those huge waves.  So once we were all out on the waves...we were just hanging out enjoying the rollers.  Treg was closer to land than Steven and I were.  I heard Steven say, "Jen LOOK!!" So I look behind me and there are two fins...Steven and I are freaking out!!! because two days earlier, there had been a shark siting very close to shore!! So we both start swimming as hard as we can to get back to shore and then we hear Treg say that he saw a blow hole, so we figured they were dolphins. BUT it was still soooooo scary!

The next day, we rode ATV's on the beach.  Steven and Treg were loving it.  I was nervous because the last time I got on an ATV I ended up getting hurt but I did it anyway! But very carefully haha.  Then that night, the Gibson/Corbridge's barbecued for everyone!  And that day, we got to meet Mary Gibson and her son, Daniel.  Mary is technically my father's step-sister.  I would explain to you how, but that would take forever because of my dad's crazy history.  But needless to say, it was exciting to meet family I didn't even know I had!! The more the merrier!! Then on Sunday, we went to Hearst Castle.  Hearst Castle is literally a castle.  It was a beautiful place to tour and to visit.  I wish I could have the humungous swimming pool....

That night the Moreland's and Mary and Daniel barbecued for everyone and it was amazing!!! On Monday Steven Treg and I went zip lining!! I love zip lining ....we had so much fun.  When we got there, we were on a bus with a lot of elderly people.  For a second we thought we were on the wrong bus, but all of those elderly were just awesome and did the zip lining with us! We all decided that when we start to get old, we want to be really cool like them...:)

That day Nicole and Steven left, and then the next day, everyone else left except for Treg, me and my parents.  P.S I was so happy that I got to know my cousin Anecia's little girl Amaya better!  She is the cutest four year old I know.  Very smart, funny, energetic, imaginative, and adorable!   You can tell she has been raised by an amazing mama!
After everyone left, we relaxed, went shopping, toured a cute Danish town called Solvang, and basically just took it easy.  We had so much fun and are so thankful for Grandpa Bill, Aunt Sandy, my mom Julie, and everyone else for making it possible!

When we got back to Idaho, we headed right to Aberdeen.  It was great to see the family and my favorite nephew:)  We had a lot of fun and got to see friends we haven't seen in a while.  Treg and I went shooting with some of our friends who are all REALLY good.  Even the girls were good!  So this was my third time shooting a gun....and I have never shot the target!! HAHA poor California girl......LOL not so good, but I had fun!  Sooo now all the trips are done and we are back in Idaho until school starts.

Corbridge UPDATE!

Sooo, I have never blogged before, but I am ready to do something new! And since I am a Communication major, I thought I should figure this out:)
So it's been five and a half months since we have been married!  WOW five months goes by so fast.  It feels like we just tied the knot yesterday.  Our wedding day was the BEST day and we are so thankful to everyone who supported and helped us on our big day.  We enjoyed every moment and I wish I could do it again!  I told Treg I didn't want to leave the reception because I was having so much fun....family, friends, dancing, food, cake, LOVE, who would want to leave such an amazing day?! Here are some pictures from the big day! Treg just looooved taking soo many pictures ;)

So after the wedding, we spent an amazing week in San Diego on our Honeymoon!  It was so nice to enjoy a week all to ourselves with no distractions! The first day it rained....but we still enjoyed the day in the rain:)

We also went to Sea World, took a tour of the city on a trolly, spent a day by the pool, spent a day with my Aunt Sandy who lives in San Diego, did a dinner cruise, went to the temple, and much more!

Well I have posted way to many pictures and not enough words, but I LOVE pictures.  I seriously want to get a really nice camera someday, I would love that!  So now an update on our lives today!  Treg and I just finished another semester at BYU-I and are on a seven week break.  Treg is working at Big 5, and I have a job on campus so I am just hanging out!  Enjoying a nice break:)  We went to California for 10 days and that was so fun.  I am not used to staying in Idaho for big breaks so it has been a weird adjustment, so I was grateful to go home!  This weekend we are going to Aberdeen for a couple days so it will be great to see Treg's family!  While we were in California, we toured LifeWest Chiropractic college in Hayward.  Treg absolutely loved it.  The atmosphere of the school was so great, the people were so friendly and so excited about what they are studying.  He is so excited to be a chiropractor one day!  We are excited to be planning for a new adventure in our lives!  We also went to San Francisco for the day which was so fun.  Treg's first time.
